Raid Frame Aliases

Rename specific characters to aliases you can customize on your party frames and raid frames.
Requires Raid-Style Frames enabled in Blizzard's Editing Mode.

This has been a pretty requested WA on Echo's, Limit's and Method's streams during RWF so here is my take on it.

To add aliases, go to Actions > On Init and follow the pattern there.

This allows you to rename raid frame or party frame names; avoid players having alts or rerolling mains and ending up with Rylásdk, Ryláshunt, etc, with this alias weakaura.

The weakaura will anchor and set itself up to your raidframes, but it's up to you to make it look spicy and nice for your own UI, so head over to Display and play around with Text Font, Size, x and y position, etc.

Intended for use with UIs where you can disable unit frame names, like ElvUI. Works fine on Default Blizzard UI but will old names will still appear since you cannot disable them through Blizzard UI. An external addon to do so maybe exists. Tested and works seamlessly on: ElvUI, Grid2, Healbot

WARNING: Shift clicking a Weakaura to chat to share it with someone will also share the code from Custom > On Init and therefore all your aliases. Be careful to not accidentally leak your friends Battle.net codes while doing so! The safest way to share this weakaura is by giving them the link to this Wago.io page, which is easily grabbable from "Information > URL" in game!

Custom Options:

For people with UIs who don't necessarily want names to be class colored, a Custom Option exists to disable it.
The ability to use players Details! nicknames instead of their alias or names. Priority is Details! nickname > Alias > Normal name.*1
Battle.net friends global overwrites, instead of having to rename all 10 of your friends alts to the same name, you can use their Battle.net Tag instead of their character name with this option enabled, and all of their characters will be renamed.*2

*1 Weakaura updates upon raidframe changes, so if someone changes their Details! name, it won't update until you /reload or someone joins or leaves the group

*2 If a friend is offline I'm unable to fetch their Bnet Tag so their name will default back either Details! nickname, any other alias set or their default name. This shouldn't happen too often though.

ElvUI Setup:

To disable names on raidframes in ElvUI, navigate to the ElvUI picture, and delete everything from "Text Format"

Grid2 Setup:

To disable names on raidframes in Grid2, navigate to the Grid2 picture, and uncheck "name". Setting the text in the Weakaura to Justify > Left is a good place to start making it nicely fit Grid2 as well.

Healbot Setup:

To disable names on raidframes in Healbot, navigate to Healbot picture, and uncheck "Show name on Bar"

Shadowed Unit Frames Setup:

Open SUF and head to Enabled Units then enable party frames and raid frames. Then go to Unit Configuration > Party > Party > Visibility and check "Show player in party". Head over to Unit Configuration > Raid > Raid > Visibility and check "Show party as raid". Lastly go to Hide Blizzard > Frames and enable "Hide party frames" and "Hide raid frames".
