Why do I need this weakaura?
For a DK in wotlk it’s very important to optimize Rune and GCD usage, the most important mechanic that will impact what you use is Rune Grace. After you use a Rune while in combat that Rune will be shorter than the original (untalented) 10 sec CD. The new CD on the rune is reduced by its idle time. That is from the time that is off CD until you use it again. But this so-called Rune Grace is set to a maximum of 2.47 seconds.
Will this slow my game down?
Not really, the code is very lightweight, the only CPU-usage comes from WeakAuras built in Glows & Text timers, the actual code that this weakaura runs is extremely lightweight; simple and efficient code with minimal triggers. |
